Founded in 2016, CVision AI is a startup that applies artificial intelligence to imagery and video data. We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to be the lead developer for our web-based video annotation and algorithm deployment platform. The ideal candidate will be self directed and have demonstrable experience with full stack web development and CI/CD within cloud and locally hosted deployments.
Responsibilities will include:
- Development of our web application for annotation and algorithm deployment
- Backend development including database design and optimization
- Frontend development using vanilla JavaScript
- Management of cloud deployment on AWS
- Management of internal cluster and edge deployments
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or similar discipline
- 5+ years of work experience
- Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience with database design and query optimization
- Programming skills with experience in Python and JavaScript
- Familiarity with video acquisition and compression
- Familiarity with edge platforms (NVIDIA Xavier/TX2)
The candidate will work from home with equipment provided by the company. Benefits include:
- Annual salary between $100K-130K
